Description
The ring, dating back to the mid-19th century, features a distinctive neo-Gothic mount, finely decorated with chivalric elements that recall its original function, such as the helmet, shield, and spears, details crafted in bicolored gold and platinum to allow for interesting contrast and a greater sense of vitality. At the top, however, it is possible to see a small steel plaque engraved with a chivalric shield identifying the social rank of the ancient owner. The peculiarity of this ring, however, also lies in the presence of a secret opening on the inside, most likely necessary to house relics or talismans to guarantee protection and good fortune.
