Description

The pendant is entirely made of silver, around the ’30s of the 20th century, and is characterised by a shape that follows the iconography of the Fatima’s hand, a type of amulet widespread in North Africa and the Middle East as a protection against the evil eye. In this case, the talisman does not have an eye in the centre of its palm but rather inscriptions in Hebrew, probably relating to Jewish Kabbalah. In fact, the pendant comes from Berber, a city in Morocco with a great Jewish influence and famous for its goldsmith trade.
