The Renaissance ring, dated to around the 15th century, is composed of a 22-karat yellow gold setting in which a carnelian intaglio is set. At the centre of the intaglio, a Jewish engraving is easily recognizable, namely the Menorah, the seven-armed candelabra symbolizing divine light, the days required for the creation and symbol of the Temple in Jerusalem. The yellow gold setting, on the other hand, is characterised by refined floral decorations that adorn the sides of the ring stem, in true Renaissance style. It is suitable that this Renaissance Jewish ring stands out for the cultural and historical preciousness it bears, as well as for its engraving quality, which is still visible today thanks to its excellent conservation conditions.
