Description
The necklace dates to the 1910s, as it is made of natural pearls of degrading size, joined at the back by a white gold and platinum clasp studded with brilliant-cut diamonds, with a geometric design typical of this period; over there is possible to see the French import mark attesting the presence of 18-karat white gold and platinum. The necklace is also accompanied by a certificate from the IGN (Istituto Gemmologico Nazionale) affirming the natural origin and by salt water for the pearls, which vary from subspherical to baroque shapes and present a range of colors extending from creamy white to pink (report no. 38644 of November 20, 2025).
