Questo cammeo della fine del XVIII secolo è realizzato in pietra dura e caratterizzato da una montatura essenziale. Il cammeo raffigura sicuramente un imperatore romano, come si può desumere dalla solennità della figura e dalla presenza della corona d’alloro, simbolo di gloria e sapienza sebbene, in mancanza di ulteriori elementi sia difficile determinare con precisione la sua identità.

This late 18th century cameo is made of hard stone and characterized by an essential setting. The cameo certainly depicts a Roman emperor, as can be deduced from the solemnity of the figure and the presence of the laurel wreath, a symbol of glory and wisdom although, in the absence of further elements it is difficult to precisely determine his identity.
