L’anello è caratterizzato da un nicolo di epoca romana, risalente al I-II secolo, inserito in una montatura in oro. Il nicolo, tipicamente un intaglio in onice, raffigura un piccolo Cupido intento, presumibilmente, a giocare mentre ai suoi piedi si può scorgere un’anfora. Questo anello, caratterizzato da una peculiare iconografia, si presenta in ottime condizioni conservative.

The ring is characterized by a nicolo from the Roman era, dating back to the 1st-2nd century, inserted in a gold frame. The nicolo, typically an onyx intaglio, depicts a small Cupid presumably intent on playing while an amphora can be seen at his feet. This ring, characterized by a peculiar iconography, is in excellent conservative conditions.
