Questo prezioso anello del XVIII secolo è realizzato in oro e presenta la parte centrale – a forma di quadrifoglio – decorata con smalti blu e un bordo con sfere di dimensione decrescente. Si tratta di una tipologia di anelli che veniva utilizzata, presumibilmente, per somministrare il veleno in maniera discreta, infatti, i quattro petali centrali sono provvisti di una cerniera che li permette di essere agilmente aperti. Un anello simile è conservato nella collezione di Alice e Louis Koch, oggi Museo Nazionale Svizzero di Zurigo.

This precious ring of the 18th century ring is made of gold and has the central part – in the shape of a four-leaf clover – decorated with blue enamels and a border with spheres of decreasing size. It is a type of rings that was used, presumably, to administer the poison in a discreet way, in fact, the four central petals are provided with a hinge that allows them to be easily opened. A similar ring is kept in the collection of Alice and Louis Koch, today Swiss National Museum in Zurich.
