Questa fede nuziale della fine del 1700, realizzata in oro 18 carati, è composta da due parti che si incastrano tra loro per formare un unico anello. Questa tipologia di anelli trova larga diffusione in ambito nuziale a partire dal XVII secolo, quando non è raro trovare simili fedi adornate da mani che si incastrano tra di loro, simbolo di unione eterna. In questo caso la fede nuziale è impreziosita da delle leggere scanalature laterali e, sulla superficie piana di ciascun anello si poteva trovare incisa la data di nozze o i nomi degli sposi. 

This wedding ring from the late 1700s, made of 18k gold, is composed by two parts that fit together to form a single ring. This type of ring has been widely spread in the wedding field since the 17th century, when it is not uncommon to find similar wedding rings adorned with hands fitting together, since it is a symbol of eternal union. In this case the wedding ring is embellished with light lateral grooves and, on the flat surface of each ring, the wedding date or the names of the spouses could be found engraved.
