L’anello vittoriano risale al 1880 circa ed ha apposto al centro un diaspro verde inciso, incastonato in una montatura con contorno in oro giallo 18 carati, mentre il corpo dell’anello è realizzato in argento. L’intaglio in diaspro al centro raffigura un uccello, indubbiamente di difficile attribuzione sebbene non si possa escludere che possa trattarsi di un uccello del paradiso, ovvero una specie particolarmente apprezzata per i colori vibranti delle loro piume e particolarmente attenzionata in epoca vittoriana. 

The Victorian ring dates to around 1880 and features an engraved green jasper in the centre, set in an 18k yellow gold surround setting, while the body of the ring is made of silver. The jasper carving in the centre depicts a bird, undoubtedly difficult to attribute although it cannot be ruled out that it may have been a bird of paradise, a species particularly prized for the vibrant colours of its feathers and particularly appreciated in the Victorian era.
