Il collier Belle Époque degli anni Dieci del Novecento si distingue per l'intreccio raffinato di perle naturali di piccole dimensioni. La collana è arricchita da una chiusura apposta in posizione frontale, tempestata di diamanti e realizzata in argento e oro, così come la nappa, impreziosita ulteriormente da sottili frange realizzate con perle naturali che, grazie alla loro dimensione minuta, restituiscono un movimento fluido ed elegante. Le perle e i collier furono particolarmente apprezzati nella Belle Époque e un esempio della loro diffusione è certamente il ritratto di Eugène Doyen di Giovanni Boldini del 1910.

The Belle Époque necklace from the 1910s is notable for its refined interweaving of small natural pearls. The necklace is enriched by a clasp placed in a front position, studded with diamonds and made of silver and gold, as is the tassel, further embellished with thin fringes made with natural pearls which, thanks to their small size, provide a fluid and elegant movement. Pearls and colliers were particularly popular in the Belle Époque, and an example of their diffusion is certainly Giovanni Boldini's 1910 portrait of Eugène Doyen.
