The pendant depicts a young shepherd who can be recognized by his attire. The micromosaic, which can be dated to the nineteenth century, is produced in Rome, where this artistic technique originated in the last quarter of the eighteenth century and reached its peak during the 1800s. A fine rose gold frame and an onyx background complete the micromosaic.

Il pendente rappresenta un giovane pastore, identificabile dall'abbigliamento. Il micromosaico, databile al XIX secolo, è di produzione romana, città in cui questa tecnica artistica ebbe origine nell'ultimo quarto del XVIII secolo e raggiunse il suo apice nel corso del 1800. Il micromosaico è completato da uno sfondo in onice e una fine montatura in oro rosa.
