The oval-shaped pendant features a silver frame and a micromosaic dated to the mid-19th century. The peculiarity of this pendant is the peculiar iconography of the swan, extremely rare since micromosaics were born in Rome in the second half of the 18th century as souvenirs for the nobles of the Grand Tour, which is why they usually represent the most sumptuous monuments in the city, making zoomorphic iconography rare and extremely appreciated. The swan, a symbol of sincerity, frankness, and nobility of spirit, is meticulously described with tiles of various sizes that give movement and truthfulness to the subject, as well as being inserted into a naturalistic landscape where we can evidently recognize the water, the shore, and the refined flowers in the foreground. The pendant is completed by a silver frame which features, in the back, a peculiar geometric and floral decoration.
