The earrings were made around 1860 in the Neoarchaeological style, which became widespread starting in the 19th century thanks to the fervor and renewed interest in the ancient techniques and styles of Roman and Etruscan goldsmith production. These earrings, made of 18-karat gold, are characterized by a perforated diamond shape and are entirely made of filigree and a granulation decoration with which these typical spiral motifs were created. The earrings arrived in excellent conservative condition and the skill in gold processing allowed them to maintain their low weight so they can be worn without discomfort.
