This period, which can be dated between the end of the 19th c. and the beginning of the 20th c., in France, and especially in Paris, was marked by considerable economic prosperity and a graceful and cheerful life. In this period, they return to the jewelry designs of ribbons, garlands and bows, made lighter by the use of platinum to give more brightness to the jewel, embellished with diamonds and precious stones.
