
A 14kt gold ring with a micromosaic set on a copper depicting a dove. Roman manufacture for the micromosaic and for the ring. For its quality and use of that shape of tesserae on the outer border it can be attributed to the master mosaicist Giacomo Raffaelli (1753-1836) or his studio, active in Rome in the late 18th and the beginning of the 19th century.
